Seventeen On the Spot Concealer

This Seventeen On the Spot concealer which is £4.99 at Boots is a 'creamy concealer which covers and helps to treat, for healthier looking skin.'

This contains Salicylic acid to help fight blemishes and this concealer apparently gives you clearer skin in 4 weeks!  Sounds pretty good, anything to help clear skin gets my attention!

What do I have to say though is that this was a waste of my money.

This can only be bought in the one shade which is medium...I dont understand why Seventeen would create one shade?? Weird...

I decided to buy this anyway because I read some reviews that it was easy to blend in even with pale skin but that was not the case for me. It just makes a nice orange patch on my face lol.  I havent used this more than twice because the shade is just completely wrong so I cant tell you if the clearer skin in 4 weeks is true.

As this contains Salicylic acid it may also not be suitable for people who are diabetic or have poor circulation.

Overall this was my first Seventeen product I tried and I am a bit reluctant to try any more after this.  I have however just bought some Soap and Glory Concealer to try!

Loreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Finally not a hair product!

The Loreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 does:
1. Dissolves Make up
2. Unclogs pores and removes impurities
3. Tones and Soothes Skin

This is apparently used by make up artists and  the solution claims to feel as gentle as water on you skin and removes make up, tones and soothes the skin. This is also suitable for sensitive skin types.

How it works: It dissolves make up and draws out excess oil and impurities rather then them being all smudged around your face. Ewwww no one wants stuff smudged around their face.

I love Bioderma but its rather expensive and hard to get hold of at times. This is only £3.32 which is a BIG price difference to Bioderma being around £22 plus postage. This is just as fab but better priced! It removes make up really well and does feel nice and soothing. I have already nearly finished my first bottle and bought a second :) It doesnt irritate my skin and my skin is fussy! The only fault I can find with this is I do wish it was in a bigger bottle but I suppose we cant have it all!

Loreal Elnett Heat Protector Spray - Volume

I am easing my way back in to blogging so thought I would start with something quite simple. The Loreal Elnett heat protector spray- volume.

A straight and waves version of this is also available and these are £5.99 in Boots. I chose the volume one because I always want volume in my hair, masses and masses of volume lol!

Everyone I know or from what I have read online loves the Elnett hairspray and this is another great too from Loreal! I'm actually quite bad as I never really used to use heat defence but as I really like this one I have found myself actually using it (Yaaay for my hair :) ).

It has 'Advanced triple action formula:
- Enriched with heat protect technology, an active ingredient known for its heat protecting properties. The formula leaves your hair shiny and feeling soft like satin.
- Helps create a voluptuous bouncy blow dry and locks out flyaways and humidity.
- Locks in voluminous style for up to 3 days.'

This sprays nicely onto damp hair and it does feel like it is actually protecting it. It doesnt make hair go greasy or feel heavy and it does give my hair some volume. I cant say if it lasts for 3 days as when I sleep on my hair I wake up with a Lion mane anyway.

Have any of you tried this?
